A Maître D is expected to assist the restaurant by welcoming guests and assigning tables to them, taking reservations, and ensuring that guests are satisfied. Seats guests as needed to ensure reservation times are met and VIP guests are treated appropriately. Actively communicates with the front of the house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) staff and management to guarantee all guests are taken care..
