Bearwood Concepts, Inc. is an architectural millwork company specializing in the design and manufacturing of store fixtures for big box retail, specialty retail shops, restaurants, fitness centers, education, & medical facilities. We also manufacture and install millwork for commercial projects. Bearwood is privately held by hands-on owners that have over 150 years of millwork industry experience.

We are seeking Experienced Carpenters!


Mills and assembles precut and prefabricated wooden parts to form complete units by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications; determine layout and work sequence.
  • Setup and operate a wide variety of woodworking tools and machines.
  • Measures, shapes, adjusts, trims, and sands parts and joints to make parts fit snugly.
  • Applies glue and inserts dowels, nails, or screws to fasten parts together and form complete units. Further, installs hardware and assembles completed units.
  • Possession of basic tools and transportation to job sites.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time.
  • Responds appropriately to requests for routine information; communicates clearly, accurately, and promptly.
  • Actively listens to others and considers information received.
  • Ability to formulate basic questions relevant to clarifying a problem, topic, or issue
  • Adapts to new techniques and technologies that are introduced to the work area.
  • Chooses the correct PPE, methods, tools, and equipment to carry out the job.
  • Engages in continuous skill development and practice.
  • Works with others to improve safe working practices and a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrates a flexible, positive “can do” approach to delivering team results.
  • Works to agreed standards and meets deadlines.

High School Diploma or (GED).

Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with reading blueprints and cabinet making is preferred.

Must be able to:

Read and Understand measurements (Measurement Test Required)
